Adopt a Chihuahua (short coat)

Chihuahua (short coat) Dog

Tabasco the Dog needs a home

Meet Tabasco!  T is a 6 year old male Chihuahua looking for new digs!  He weighs in at a hefty 8 pounds, though he thinks he’s one of the big dogs.  Tabasco is a spunky, spitfire of a guy who has independence for days.  He is potty trained and crate trained, though he has great house manners.  When his foster family is away, he is free to roam the house and does just fine.  He is good with dogs and likes to play after he warms up.  It does take time for him to warm up to new people and trust them to know he’s safe and not going to be harmed.  He can be an insecure dog who needs patience, understanding and leadership.  Given he can be a typical grumpy Chihuahua, it may be best he lives with adults rather than small children.  He lives with a cat and is mostly indifferent to it but will occasionally share a lap. He has good leash skills and is a great watch dog for the house.  If you’re looking for a dog who just wants to hang around and watch TV nearby, apply for his adoption today!
